Waterway warfare
Many of Vietnam's battlefields are defined by rivers and deltas. Riverine combat — fighting on and around the water — is central to these maps, and control of the waterways often decides the match.
Patrol boats
Both factions field patrol boats. US boats focus on firepower and transport, while NVA boats can also deploy supplies along the waterways. Boats function as mobile spawn points and open up flanking routes.
Why it matters
Water control lets a team move, resupply and outflank. Ignoring the rivers usually means losing the map.
